Ok first let me say this LCD was kind of cheap. About $50 not including shipping. I got it from BuyDisplay. They have a ton of LCD products for cheap. At first i was skeptical since its china based but a friend Helge bought from them and assured me it was fine.
Only after buying the display i notice the datasheet has a confusing mistake.. The interface selections also seem to specify the Backlight control pins. I wrote to them and was responded to quickly.
So now knowing this i was able to correct my datasheet info. Or well at least make a note.. but why keep a note when i could create a nice simple application to select interface and tell me all the details in one shot!
