Messing around with a couple of 74HC373. I plan to use this theory to control a 16bit LCD but also use the same 16bits to control other devices. Hence making it dual role. Meaning i can turn 16bit into 32bit.
This video shows how i can save an entire port of data without loosing the data when changing it. You can use this method to multiplex without having to do timing calcs and stuff but it will draw more current since more leds are constantly on.
