Just got my Mini Bluetooth Keyboard in the mail. It uses a HID bluetooth protocol… What ever that is… (ill find out soon)
The issue with this is… its battery didnt work at all. So like any good (smart) man… I modded it with a old cellphone battery..
The original battery was a Lipo 3.7v with a tiny 310mAH
The new/old cellphone battery is a nice 1000 mAH (more than 3x the charge) which means it will last 3x as long with out a charge 😀
I then simply used my Soldering Iron to melt a small hole into the device back to run the battery wire to… and soldered to battery. The using a saved piece of 3M tape from a iPhone repair i cut 2 strips for the new battery and taped it to the device.
All in all i think it came out pretty cool.
