Ok before i finalize any PCB i want to make a simple dev board for my remote. Something where i can add parts and sensors without manually wiring it. So ive made a small simple dev board which i can create at home.
Features..
Will have FPC connectors for LCD and MicroSD portion of my LCD BOARD
Will hold my IR Transmitter board.
Will hold the Fubarino board while supplying a complete pin breakout so i can test pins if needed
Will be able to create stack on boards for Battery charging, accelerometers and other devices with easy access to SPI and I2C Busses.
The main board can use a battery for power but not while USB is plugged in. I will use a diode to protect the battery but! i still wouldnt recommend it.
While these images are from OSHPark priview, this PCB will be made at home and ill supply pictures after.
Here is a full layout view. Will be far away enough to not damage lcd while testing board stacks but close enough the final board will wrap around to back of lcd panel and be hidden.
Side not … final assembly will have usb on seperate pcb so I can be more craetive when creating an enclosure.
