I had a spare A4988 controller. But i plan to fix this one, by simply swapping the IC&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Its already prep&#8217;ed for surgery.. just need to get that IC. I plan to buy like 20 or more from china. Since that seems to be the only source for them.<\/p>\n<p>The reason for it blowing was purely accidental and my fault&#8230; i didnt screw the terminals good enough on that motor and the wire slipped out and&#8230; well you can guess the rest \ud83d\ude41 but the only thing damaged was that one IC on that one controller board. Lucky me!<\/p>\n<p>I have since fixed\/replaced and did new wiring \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Its not all bad news. I had a spare A4988 controller.
