IO Buddy – 4 LEDs, 4 Buttons Pure Simplicity

IO Buddy V1

This is my IO Buddy. The IO Buddy is a simple to use Input and Output pcb. Made to slide on your breadboard just like the Breadboard Buddy Pro.

The IO Buddy has 4 Leds:

LED 1 is RED
LED 2 is Yellow
LED 3,4 is Green
LEDs are all pulled HIGH
GND turns on LED
It also has 4 push buttons which can be configured:

Can be either Pulled High or Low
Can be Pushed High or Low
The IO Buddy has a select-able power source:

Jumper Selects between PWR1 or PWR2
Using the IO Buddy saves tons of time and wiring since the only wires needed are single wires to the buttons or leds for I/O.
